If you have booked an apartment with a physical key (please check the apartment description on the website or your booking confirmation), then you need to do contactless online check-in and pick up the key from our office at Steinweg 45. Office hours are daily from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please plan your arrival so that you can pick up the key before 6:00 p.m. If you are unexpectedly late, please check in online before 6 p.m. and contact our staff as early as possible by phone +49 6421 1830544 for a key lock code.
If you have booked an apartment with a digital code lock (please check the apartment description on the website or your booking confirmation), you do not need a key to get into your room. On the day of arrival at 2 p.m. you will receive an email with instructions for online check-in. After filling out an electronic registration form, you will receive the access code to your room by email or on the check-in tablet at the reception after successful check-in. You enter the code later directly at the front door and at the room door. Please do online check in before 6 p.m. After successful online check-in, your arrival can also take place later.
The code consists of a long start code (Start PIN) and a short comfort code (Comfort PIN). You only need the long start code the first time you enter the room. After that you can use the short comfort code at any time. The comfort code is always valid at the front door. Please note that the Booking.com reservation PIN is not a room code. If you enter the code incorrectly, your door will be locked for one minute for security reasons. After entering a room code, please don’t forget to confirm it with a checkmark button. Your room code is valid until you check out by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

There is a hairdryer in each bathroom. Soap and shower gel/shampoo are available free of charge.
We have a limited number of parking lots. They are located approximately 150 or 300 meters from the main building. A parking lot costs 10 € per night. If you would like to book a parking lot, please contact our reception during opening hours (daily from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Please note that parking lots are limited and availability can change quickly. Unfortunately big cars or vans over 5 meters long or 2.05 meters high can not park on our parking lots. If your car is bigger than that, please contact our reception.
Yes. Our guests are welcome to park their cars in the “Oberstadt” parking house. It is located 200 meters away at Pilgrimstein 17, 35037 Marburg. The parking fee is around 15 € per day.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
If you want to change the number of guests in the room, it must be announced in advance. An extra person costs 20 € per night. Please note that changing the number of guests is not possible for every room.
With a flexible rate, cancellation free of charge is possible up to 14 days before arrival. From 14 days before arrival, 80% of the total price must be paid as a cancellation fee.
In this case you chose our cheapest rate, when you made the reservation. If you have a non-refundable rate, you can cancel your booking, but the amount you paid in advance will not be refunded. It will be charged 100% as a cancellation fee. Unfortunately, illnesses or other circumstances will not be accepted as a reason for canceling the trip free of charge. We recommend to make a travel cancellation insurance for these cases.
Unfortunately not. You are welcome to pay with an EC-card, Giro-card, VISA, Mastercard, Maestro or by bank transfer (before arrival). We currently offer only a credit card payment during online check-in.
You have the option to correct or feed in your billing address during online check-in. You will receive your invoice by email after check-out. Please use your correct email address during check-in to receive the access code for your room and the invoice for the stay.
After checking out, you will receive your invoice by email to the email address you provided. Please make sure that you have provided a correct email address and the correct billing address by checking in.
All our rooms have free WiFi access. The access data is available on your desk in the room and at reception. You can also find the access data in our electronic Guest folder.
No. Unfortunately there is no elevator.
No. Final cleaning after departure is included and free of charge. If someone has smoked in the room or if the level of dirtying goes beyond normal use, we get the right to charge you for the extra cleaning.
For a longer stay of 30 nights or more, a monthly cleaning and a final cleaning are included (unless there is other agreement). To arrange an appointment for monthly cleaning, please contact our reception. Our long-term apartments also have vacuum cleaners and cleaning utensils, so you can do your own cleaning at any time.
No. We are not a hotel and do not offer daily cleaning and linen changing in order to be able to offer our guests our large apartments at an attractive price. To arrange extra cleaning, towels and linen changing for a fee, please contact our reception.

Elisabeth Apartments are non-smoking apartments or rooms. Smoking is prohibited in our house. This also applies to e-cigarettes. In the event of a violation, we are entitled to terminate the contract without notice. In addition, if necessary, Elisabeth Apartments may charge a special final cleaning fee of at least 250 € if there is a smell of nicotine in the apartment. Elisabeth Apartments reserves the right to charge the guest for any costs incurred as a result of a fire alarm system being triggered as a result of a violation of this smoking ban. Please note that smoking is not permitted in stairwells or on the balconies.
Our partner, the Café “Elisabeth” usually offers breakfast daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The café is managed by our partner Mesut Delipalta and his team and does not belong to our company. You can reserve a table by phone +49(6421)6143698. The café is located directly on the ground floor of the main building. You can pay for breakfast directly in the café. Please note that the café opening hours may vary. Please ask the café staff for current opening hours.
We kindly ask you to check out upon departure using our digital guest system on your cellphone or on the tablet at the reception. On the day of departure you will receive an email that will help you to access our digital guest system and check out yourself. The same principle works here as with a check-in. Otherwise the tablet at reception is also available for check-out. There you can check out by entering your booking code and your last name.
Basically a later check-out is not possible, because we have to prepare your room for another guest by 2 p.m. To find out if you can check out later as an exception, please contact our staff during opening hours by email or phone. Please do it not later than on the day before your departure. A late check-out until 12:30 p.m. costs an additional 20 €. For a late check-out you need a new access code for your door. Please note that you will not be able to enter your room after 10 a.m. without a new code.
In individual cases it is possible Monday to Friday. Please contact our staff to ensure that the reception is occupied by the luggage drop-off and pick-up times. We would like to point out that we assume no liability for the luggage.
